I created this poster for a student directed musical performance. The show was about RISD and student's lives from "Application to Graduation."

Since the musical was about our lives at RISD the concept was to put the viewer behind the red curtain looking out at the crowd as a performer rather than a member of the audience. Because I was portraying RISD I wanted a strong sense of a cononical theatre performance and paid homage to French painter and designer Henri Toulousse Lautrec and the Moulin Rouge.

The construction of this poster consisted of creating a three-dimensional model of the curtains, stage and crowd, with most of the type added digitally.
