The first time I heard of the Nopalea juice made me very interested to learn more about it since I’m a fan of natural drinks. I’m very skeptical to try a new product unless it has earned great feedback from consumers.  I’ve immediately searched for its components, scientific basis and even checked nopalea juice reviews to know its pros and cons. Here’s what I found.

The juice is produced from Nopal cactus fruit also well known as prickly pear cactus. It has been considered a super food due to its antioxidant, anti inflammatory and cholesterol-reducing properties.

What really caught my attention was the Betalain ingredient of this juice. Betalain is pigment in the nopalea cactus fruit which gives it a vibrant magenta color. It has nutrients that strengthen your cells so they’re resistant to toxins and bad bacteria.

Scientific research shows that betalains help to:
Reduce of the risk of the blood clots – betalains that protects the very thin lining of your blood vessels; this helps reduce the inflammation that makes your blood sticky and leads to clots.
Reduce of bad cholesterol – betalains that strongly the reduces the oxidized LDL cholesterol.
Protect cells from the toxins — betalains that protects many types cells, especially brain cells, from the toxins that is known to create tumors.

Protects the liver — betalains that provide strong protection from the toxins that directly affects the liver.
Of course, everyone would want to take anything with antioxidants into their bodies. It helps to slow down aging process, fights diseases and keeps oneself detoxified from a daily lifestyle of processed foods and drinks. Nopalea juice has been also proven to relieve inflammation within the body whether it’s a sore muscle, tonsillitis or a swollen toe nail. This is a good news to those who do rigid physical work, athletes or simply who’s been on a tough day.

Most of us would want to keep our weight on track and this juice could definitely help due to its dietary fibres which promote better digestion.  This juice must a grab when you’re constipated, feeling bloated or has irregular trips to the John.

Based on research it’s known to combat the following health problems:

-          Obesity
-          Diabetis
-          High cholesterol
-          Colitis

-          Hyperglycemia
