The National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) has international branches and I was tasked with creating 3 t-shirts that are specific to the Scandinavian campus. I focused my designs on three experiences students encounter while backpacking in the countries of Norway and Sweden. The first is the iconic cairn, a stone structure, which marks the borders between the countries. Reindeer are a very common sighting while hiking in the tundra, and lastly is the well known U-Gate valley, which greets students upon arrival in Sweden.
