It had been a quiet night in the bunker. The scope was clean. All was routine and peaceful. Hunter checked the dials across the board and made notes on his clipboard.

Shay nodded at the screen, eyes at half mast, but still watchful. Ever vigilant, even when half asleep.

Forty feet above, the tower made its silent, circular sweep across the night sky. A slow, lazy drift of flurries added a haze to the background noise on the scope and Shay leaned over to adjust one of the knobs on the lower panel.

This was the card we created for this year's Christmas Greeting.

Historically, every year, the boys and I are tasked by my wife to come up with another creative and fun way of celebrating the season. This year was no different!

But, the original plan fell short when we couldn't figure out how to get the 1934 bmw motorcycle with side car, up the elevator. The owner of the customized antique was understandably reticent to start wrenching on it.

Luckily, plan B was a bit easier to do and only involved getting a few cool knobs and a radar array. We already had the headsets in the studio.
