The Mizzou Advantage: Creating the Future
Created as an overview of the new Mizzou Advantage program, this video is a short promo to introduce viewers to the five initiatives and examples of projects within each initiative. This video premiered in the fall of 2010.
The original idea was to create a molecular-view of the program and it evolved to the final "MizzoUniverse" seen here, where each initiative is represented by a color and each project is somewhere between multiple initiatives - intended to symbolize crossover between initiatives. I created the motion graphics using Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects. For the globe representing a networked world, I utilized a topographic map from NASA, adjusted in Photoshop, and then I added the networking logos and 3D motion in Maya. I also created the night footage of wind turbines as well as power-lines in Maya.
