I began my own project in Spring 2007 that didn't go as planned but was an amazing and enlightening experience. I had been working diligently on launching a Art, Literature and Music ‘Inklinations’ Magazine for the state of Wyoming. I pursued this avenue for two years, and the project evolved into something more. The theory was that by expanding the public's education in the world of commercial design as well as supplying hardware and software to those who needed it for personal use. In essence, helping those to help themselves and contribute to the local economy in more ways than one. Lack of funds put this project on hold.
I do plan to continue working my project at a later date because I believe that it will allow people to grasp both the influence and potential of commercial art. Not only that but it would be great for Wyoming if there was an all inclusive magazine for those three genres.
[All of the work for these select mock-up pages (yes, the entire magazine is actually all done) is either personal art or random stock - I am not claiming any of it. It is simply a rendition of the look and feel I wish folks interested in the magazine to grasp. Meaning that is not press-ready, it is ONLY a mock-up.]
