Big Hawx Project

I am currently working on a larger project to make and remake logos for a fictional American Football league, but I have finished part of the work for one team in particular.

First, I started with the old team logo for the E.X. City Big Hawx, with the team colors being green, blue, and white. I found inspiration from various team logos that utilized a hawk and a pose of a man flexing his muscle.
The new logo features a hawk inspired mainly by the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA, but I wanted to be as original as possible. I really love the mean look on this hawk.  The font I originally used for it was called Storm by Dieter Schumacher. I went back and made the type on my own, and was asked to make it three-dimensional.
The helmet differs from most in that it has a wing on either side (much like the Philadelphia eagles of the NFL). One view has the generic helmet shown in promotions, like NFL teams have. The other view is made to be placed on a modern NFL helmet (Riddell Evolution).
Here’s the base helmet vector I drew from a reference. I just flipped it.
I also made a logo to place on the player’s uniforms.
This is a working logo. It was made to combine a pose from a game screenshot and a stance from quarterback Pat Haden when he played for the Las Angeles Rams.
Finally, I took the NFL players from the previous project and showed them wearing the old and new team colors.
