The football training centre for the next generation in Felcsút some 40 kilometres from Budapest, Hungary’s capital, was inaugurated on the 80thbirthday of the legendary player, Ferenc Puskás, on April 1, 2007 in the presence of a UEFA envoy and football stars. The academy took the name of the most famous Hungarian on this day, with the extant consent and continuous support of the Puskás family.
