Part of an elaborate project where 120 artists from Karachi contributed original artworks on a uniform sized board for a silent auction in order to rise funds for renovation of the magnificent building at the Cantonment Railway station - our heritage site. The concept was journey, which the artists were given liberty to interpret however they want. The work uses the crimson red uniform and turban of the rail station porters and compares their lifestyle and idea of journey to those that are affluent and hire the porters.
