Edward Meehan's profile

My first career job was for Slime Tire Sealant, I was just a junior designer then but was taken under the wing of a very awesome person, Brad Holahan. Brad was my Art Director, and at the time I didn't know he allowed me so many freedoms. Later in my career I would learn the harsh reality of agency life and started on the bottom as a "production designer", just a nice way of saying you're a "wheel in the machine". Needless to say I didn't work in an advertising agency for long and have been avoiding them ever since.
This was an asset I created for a motion graphics project at Fullsail University. I have a few more at different angles I will add when I find them.
Early in my career I had ambitions of working with lifestyle brands in action sports. Many of my friends become my models for different pet projects. I planned on using this graphic in a mock advertisement that never got finished. I love the clean vector line style.
When I first started freelancing in Texas I formed a company called "Car Two Fifty-Six Design". At the time I was in love with 1960 era Chevy cars. I created this asset for my website but ended up never using it. I had fun creating the simple gradients to give this wrench some depth. Simple yet effective.
