Advertising Age Cover Competition 2015

"Creativity in 2015 is the era of Newborn Creative where new talents are emerging and growing everywhere" - Shona Maskun
 
Famous Advertising Magazine 'Advertising Age' has created a cover competition for their June 2015 Cannes Issue and a chance to win a roundtrip airfare to Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2015 in France. I decided to challenge myself and enter the competition. I might not win but I didn't regret a thing and feel confident about my work, hope you guys feel the same!
 

Design Idea:
The newborn creatives are shown as the babies brought by the cranes that according to legends, they both connected in an unexplainable bond. Even Disney's movie 'Dumbo' uses the same approach. The newborn creatives then become 'gifts' to the world that bring life and colours to the city (metaphor for the world)
