中华文明源远流长，其特征之一就是融合、协调、和谐，也就是共生。而文房四宝系列作为我国重要的文化代表具有极其浓厚的文人气息，文人的抱负理想往往依靠寄托于文房四宝而得以实现。汇集充满文人气息的文房四宝和文人士大夫的价值观得到了设计出发点，从文化理念与产品本身的共生；现代手法与古代器物的共生；现代材质与传统材质的共生三方面体现“共生“的主题，通过文房四宝系列产品设计来继承发扬传统器物的同时，透过设计来感受那份独属于中国人的文化、精神与情感。
In the long history of Chinese culture, Balance and Harmony that we call “collaborative development” now are the most important culture characteristics. “WENFANGSIBAO” is one of the signature symbols of Chinese culture, by which ancient Chinese intellectuals want to express their special ideology and spirit, ambitions and self-value. The starting point of my designing is based on how to show ancient Chinese intellectual s’ views to life, society, and so on using “WENFANGSIBAO”. The theme,“collaborative development”, will be shown through three parts: 1. Between the cultural concepts and products. 2. Between the modern design and ancient products. 3. Between the modern materials and traditional materials. The proposes of the design are that the traditional Chinese stuff can still be part of our modern lives, meanwhile, the products can demonstrate unique Chinese culture, spirits, and feelings.
最后，关于为什么要做这么一套东西。不为别的，只为传承。传承流淌于中国人血液中的那种精神与气节，呈现出本人意向中现代非禅非山水的中国风。
Finally, lots of people ask me why I am doing something like this. Nothing else, just for inheritance, inheriting the spirit in Chinese blood, presenting a modern Chinese style as a young man.
