I love optical illusions! When you look at an image and it can make you feel like your head is spinning, or your eyes are rolling around in their sockets, that to me is something really cool. Not only are they fun to look at, but they are even more fun to make. Start with a shape, twist it, turn it, bop it (ok, maybe don't do that), scale it, warp it, or change its color, stroke, opacity, just keep going and until it looks nothing like that simple shape you started with. Do all that, and a simple shape becomes something really interesting and fascinating to look at. My goal with this series is to do all those things, but I don't just want to create your basic optical illusions. I want to make something that will make your head spin, while creating something beautiful that stands on its own as more than just an illusion.
