"Rue Morgue" Magazine Rebrand + Car Wrap

A rebrand of the existing horror media magazine Rue Morgue in an attempt to appeal to a broader audience than the hardcore horror fan readership. The existing visuals of the magazine tend towards the cluttered and kitschy, so the new aesthetic focuses updating the brand while still keeping an appropriate touch of the spooky.
Since the Rue Morgue brand attends horror conventions and other such gatherings, a logical brand extension is a car wrap. This was created using collaged vintage illustrations from horror movie poster of the 60s-70s, evoking a nostalgic but energetic aesthetic that communicates the variety of creepy media RM covers and maintains the idea of "old-fashioned" horror.
