The Student Spot was my final major project at university, the brief was set by Amaze as a competition. The brief was to take an experience and create a coherent digital marketing campaign for selected calendar sales periods. The concept of The Student Spot was born out of my own frustration of moving to a city I had never been to before and not knowing any good places to go for food and to drink etc. As being a student this was part of your daily life, after doing a lot of research I found this was a common problem with many other students.
From my research and my idea to create something to fill the void of frustration I created the The Student Spot, which was a digital friend for students moving to Manchester. Through The Student Spot website they would be able to find where to go on selected dates and also receive discount and coupons for the selected bars and restaurants involved in The Student Spot website. 
For this project my deliverables were:
• Full Branding for The Student Spot (Including the name)
• Stationary Set
• A Live Website
• A Print Campaign
• Merchandise
• An InfoGraphic (Explaining how everything works)

This project went on to win the Amaze competition brief which has secured me a month placement at the company.
