In 2013, Nantes is awarded European Green Capital. Far from being an end in itself, this labeling aims to reward the commitment of a territory on the issues of sustainable development: it will also be the beginning of a substantive work. For 2015, the two communities Nantes Métropole and the Pays de la Loire then agree to organize an international event on the theme of "Green", produced by La Cité des Congrès in Nantes. A project that proposes to collect and stimulate regional ecosystem Green by the event.
 
Katra The team was chosen to materialize the identities of these two events and give a vision carrying of meaning to the whole. It is inspired by nature and especially of a swarm of insects that is born logo of the Green Week. Formed by the initials G and W, each point represents an actor of the event this week converging reflection around the "green". Participants are not just visitors but help shape the event and to live in a dynamic of co-construction and participatory workshops.
 
For the second "green business" event, the inspiration came from the canopy, one of the best places for the proper development of a rich and harmonious ecosystem (70-90% of species living there). There is also a large number of innovations and coping strategies; Trees avoid touching not to spread disease, billion leaves act as solar panels and provide energy to the entire forest etc ... In the collective unconscious, the Canopy also refers to a far extent, wide, inviting us in the context of the event to raise our eyes and see beyond what we know. The trees said "emerging", formally represented in the brand, this vision materialize exceeded and forward.
