Installation for the lightwell of a gallery space. A shard of mirrors, assembled from fragments, opposes a shard of stone, suspended above it. Dynamic tension. Reality vs. Image. Death vs. Life. ...

The stone should have been bigger, but then so should the budget... one day (:

I actually wasn't sure about showing this here as I'm not happy with the solution I found to give more volume to the stone (an iron hoop with insufficient cables holding the stone - I think I could have made the iron structure more angular, and used a lot of thin threads - to give more mass to the stone without having to reinforce the beam structure above).

But I'm quite pleased with the mirror structure - so here it is (:
