I made these photos to show a contrast between different settings, with the food as the centre of attention. The photos are in contrast with each other and the food is in contrast with the photo. The same goes with the girls. They are in a contrast with each other, yet they refine the photo's, with a more delicate touch for the white picture and a powerful edge to the black photo. I imagined these photos to be an advertisement for a high-end restaurant, with their food as the centre of attention, and the girls to define their young, hip and diverse clientele.
