    The Black Box
The Black Box... By: Harley Ann White
I used the darkness and confined feeling of the crate to show depression as something more than a feeling you see primarily in people, and turned it in to something that can be touched and seen by those who don’t feel it. I used things I love and bent them, broke them or made them look awkward and out of place…
Depression takes the joys of your life away from you, and makes them seem lifeless, unimportant, and meaningless. It makes you forget how much you love something, or someone. It leaves you feeling dead inside. You don’t want to eat, you don’t want to go anywhere, and you don’t want to do anything…
