CURSE OF THE FROZEN GOLD

In 1891 a Native man named Slumach was hanged in New Westminster for murdering a man called Louis Bee. Myth links Slumach to a fabled bonanza known as Slumach´s Gold, Lost Creek Gold, the Lost Creek Mine, or the Lost Mine of Pitt Lake. On the gallows he cursed the mine so that once he died, it would be lost forever. The show follows a group of people who have gathered to look for and find the cursed gold.

Using a mix of shot footage, archival images, maps and CG environments, we set out to create an opening title sequence that captured the strange mystery and danger that has been historically associated with search for Slumach's lost mine.

In addition to the titles, Iamstatic created the the in show graphics package for the program.
