EDETA

Edeta is an experimental journey through the world of jewelry and fashion design.
Influences of ancient Mediterranean jewelry and architecture merge with an ethnic air to create evocative pieces that combine textile printing with garments and accessories design.
The jewellery, inspired by the tradicional adornment of the Valencian folklore costume, has been taken out of their usual context and was made with another material, such as resin.
The geometric prints, designed especially for each jewel, are inspired by the Mediterranean tiles.
Six sets, each one representing its own topic, but all of them inspired by a mineral and its respective properties, as can be seen on the following pages with the collage moodboard I did for all of them.
The project was part of a three months residence grant in "Las Naves", Centre of Contemporary Arts in Valencia.
Short but intense, it allowed me to explore into different fields, techniques and materials.
