Designed for the Porcelanosa stand at the Furniture and Home exhibition, the Iceberg welcome desk highlights the multiple possibilities of set forms and lighting of KRION © material.
In partnership with Porcelanosa and arranger Jouneau, Katra in developed, a welcome desk consisting of wood and KRION®.
KRION® is a solid surface (Solid Surface) last generation developed by Systempool, a company of the Porcelanosa Group.

This is a very nice and material similar to natural stone. It consists of two-thirds of natural minerals and a small percentage of highly resistant resins which endows it with some exclusive features: lack of pores, bacteria hermetic properties, hardness, strength, durability, ease of repair, low maintenance and cleaning easy.
This material is transformed in a similar manner to the wood; it is possible to cut the plates, assemble them, to produce thermoformed curved parts, etc. and to use the same material in the injection production process, which allows to obtain different designs and realize projects impossible to achieve with other materials.
Moreover, the KRION® is a material made by applying ecological criteria and it does not emit volatile compounds. It satisfies the requirements of environmental standards with regard to sustainability, and it is 100% recyclable.
