A university project based on one of the D&AD new blood award design brief to create new innovative delivery packaging for John Lewis. My theme behind the packaging is 'Party in a box', I wanted the user to get the same feelings of excitement and joy that you do at a party or from opening a gift. To make the packaging more interesting when the box is open it triggers a switch which makes lights inside the box light up, adding that extra special touch to the box.
The pattern design used throughout the packaging is seasonal and will change depending on what season it is when you order your product. The name on the address label is in a handwritten font to give a more personalised feel to the packaging.
