KUINI Beauty Salon
KUINI is a beauty salon located in Piraeus, Greece.
KUINI means “Queen” in New Zealand’s aborigines’ language (Maori). Maori are famous for bone carving charms they made, to symbolise wishes, emotions, characteristics or human achievements. For the logo design we were inspired from some charms’ lines with specific symbolisms (culture, sea, art, beauty and peace) and we came up with a new design to symbolise “Kuini”.
The typography follows Maori tattoo lines and hieroglyphics. The colours are inspired by the sea and also from the Maori’s culture.
We also designed Kuini’s business cards, three packages for body creams and other applications.
