I AM MPLS! is a passion project: created in the mind and fueled by the soul of Sarah Edwards this event celebrates Minneapolis and the talent bursting its borders. One unforgettable night fusing fashion, music, comedy and dance. The goal is to leave each and every individual with feelings of inspiration. Let's have a good time!

For the fashion show portion of the event, each boutique's logo was to projected on a two 10'x7' walls on ether side of the runway that the models walked out from behind. Jared Lukes of Catalyst Studios had the great idea to make the logos react to the volume level of the crowd's applause. Jared came up with the ActionScript magic to have the feed from a mic control the playhead of the animations I created. The idea was as the crowd noise climbs, the dull muted grays would evolve and transform, reflecting the energy of the crowd. At the maximum level, colored light would pour off the wall, onto the runway and models.
