Assassin's Creed : Initiates - ACIII and AC:BF version

Information architecture, prototyping, interaction design

Working with game designers, visual designers and frontend developers, I did the interaction design for the main navigation menus and contributed to the design of various interactive systems for Assassin's Creed Initiates. From the whiteboard brainstorm to the CSS fine-tuning, I closely followed the implementation of each features and systems.

Beside supplying the user with an efficient content organisation, components like the main header also needed to communicate the status of various game progression elements. Assassin's Creed Initiates was online from September 2012 to June 2014.
The sign-in and welcome page were crafted to accommodate constantly updated content. Serial storylines, interactive webgames and HD games complements.

Challenges included presenting new content, presenting partner offers and supporting established brand lore and guidelines.
The missions navigation and details page required careful design in order to compensate for the asynchronous nature of the underlying technical infrastructure. With no way to provide the player with in game feedback, a detailed yet accessible UI was crafted.
Through the promotion page, partner offers could be redeemed for extra ULC on Assassin's Creed games. Integration of the Ubishop also added.
