One of our course assignments was to choose a company that didn't have very successful branding, advertising and market positioning, and to rebrand and reposition them.
I chose Matsons Brewery, this companies logo didn't look like a beer logo at all, they didn't have any clear target market and had little to know advertising or market presence. I changed this with a much more powerful logo design, this logo reflects the purity of Matsons beer. They source their water and ingredients all from local sources and are pure NZ. I took this idea and made positioning statements and posters slogans from it.
To answer the brief we had to come up with a new logo and two poster designs.
