This project was partly inspired by "personality pots" I brought back from a trip to Peru and a "fish" pot a student found on the internet.  A really interesting thing that developed out of this was using the pot as an amplifier for electronic devices. The tongue on the pot, above, was designed to balance an iPhone.

This is another variation on the coil pot that students can choose to do in my classes.  Instead of stacking rings of coils, students pinwheel them, and then arrange them in rows, building up vertically.
