The Norwegian Opticians’ Association - Marketing campaign
The Optometry study wanted more students who were dedicated to the subject, but many young people had not heard of optemetry. The optemetry profession are among other things dedicated to aesthetics. We therefore arranged an Instagram competition: “Design your own glasses”, giving the visitors on the student fair free sunglasses at the stand.
The students then decorated them, took a snapshot with their mobile phone and posted the images on Instagram with the #dittøyeblikk. Three winners won sunglasses at the opticians.
The campaign received huge feedback – The course have had a 90% increase in applicants since the campaign began in 2013.
We also created a complete visual identity with logo, colors, typography and design guidelines. We made printed and digital content including a campaign website, brochures, rollups, giveaways and flyers.
