The Compassion Centre is a community centre located at the Arcadia Faith Community in Wessels Street, Arcadia Pretoria. I was contracted to redesign their logo which would be used across a variety of mediums, one being a bill board outside their building and the other being their information brochures which are made available to their visitors.
The process took a few weeks and it was interesting to work as an individual with a group of very opinionated and passionate people who were adamanat to see the organisation represented as best possible.
The existing building has a beautiful stainglass window, which was then used to develop a font for the logo. And also repeated throughout the designs of all other graphics.

The Compassion Centre is involved in a variety of urban community and health projects. It has its own coffee shop, artist centre and helps the homeless, woman on the streets who are involved in prostitution.
The website might still be under construction but they are on the internet and facebook. Have a look or visit them on the corner of Wessels and Church Street, right across the Sheraton Hotel.
