My team and I were directed to execute a guerilla component, and with no budget and confined to a college campus, this is what we came up. We simply wrote "What moves you?" on a poster in front the university library entrance, and asked passerbys for their answer. The question reflects Charter Oak Cultural Center's mission of "Art that moves the world," and the almost all the responses correlated to the Center's offerings. By including the hashtag #ArtForAll, we could track participants' reactions to the experience.
I created an Instagram page for Charter Oak Cultural Center, since it did not have one prior. Class participants and event attendees had used the center's geotag, proving there was interest in a potential profile. The Instagram promotes upcoming events, explains the social justice work they do, and can share posts uploaded by other users. I simply created posts from pictures that had already been uploaded by Charter Oak's Facebook page to demonstrate to them how easy it would be to share posts on Instagram as well.
