Final year Thesis Project

The object was to create a hypothetical 360degree campaign.

I chose to work for the promotion of a music album. The genre of music I decided upon
was post-rock.

Now since post-rock is a very experimental form of music, the visuals and the poster series that
I designed, were experimental as well.

The poster series was designed in two versions, one is the standard poster series, which has only cymatic visuals and the copy. The second is the perspective poster series.The object behind these was to make the viewer see things differently, just like using sound vibrations for visuals i.e. giving sound a visual form. The idea was to have the viewer interact with the poster, they would have to move around a bit to see the entire composition. The perspective poster series is in 3 parts;

The pre-launch: This is the central part of the composition, showing the band logo.

The launch: This forms the major section of the composition, contains the album details.

The post-launch: This is the smallest part of the composition, contains details of the album tour.

In addition there is the platform for launching the album, i.e. the record label. Its logo and branding.
