inspired by Aalto

"As it is placed in such an such a mesmerizing natural environment, Aalto used this to his advantage and designed with the intentions of blurring the lines between being inside or outdoors. To reproduce a similar experience as when walking through a forest Aalto used a spacial layering concept. The vericality of the columns existing throught the house and fence by the staircase mimic the nature of trees that surround the house" by ArchDaily.
Concept is based on experiencing chapel as when walking in the woods, where is light which enables perception of forest’s continious depth. Alone in the deep forest, sun as an honour – image that present the main concept. Columns imitate the woods, while natural light gives all the spirit to the space.
