3D / MOTION GRAPHICS

In Cinema 4D I decided to take the Logo of the Bottle & Wedge business in Heritage Station and create a 30 sec advertisement clip like you would see on TV, giving the small business’s logo a real and authentic feel, plus seeing what their logo would look like in real 3D.
All animations were complied & rendered in Adobe's After Effects. This animation was played on Marshall's Joan C. Edwards Stadium video board.
My intention was to create something that was affected by artificial gravity and collision in a 3D environment. The idea I came up with was the idea of a business called “7-10 Spilt Lanes” and have their logo animation consist of a bowling ball striking the pins and having them all fall down except for the 7 and 10 pin. Then I would have the lane clearing sweeper come down with the logo “Split Lanes” and freeze with the two standing pins in the background with the numbers 7 & 10 on them completing the entire logo display.
In order to replicate a motion graphic scene I first had to research exactly what a motion graphic was. The first idea that came to mind was the end credits for the movie 300. This trailer has fascinated me since it was released in theaters.
All footage was created in Maxon Cinema 4D and compiled in Adobe After Effects.
