sustainabilitea packaging

There are three important elements to consider when designing sustainable packaging — social, economic, and environmental sustainability. This fair trade tea packaging incorporates all three of these pillars of sustainability. The design is simple, clean, and purposeful with sustainability at its core. Packaging waste is reduced as the tea is loose rather than in individual tea bags. Within the box, which is sustainably made of recycled fibers, the loose tea is contained in a beeswax re-usable wrap, good for food storage and an environmentally friendly alternative to a plastic bag. The tea itself is economically and socially sustainable as it is fair trade. And just like there are three pillars to sustainability, there are three types of Sustainabilitea - simplicitea (good old black tea), festivitea (flavorful blended fruit tea), and prosperity (healthy oolong tea). Fun Fact: other than water, tea is the most consumed beverage in the world.
