Ruffians
When the routine of modern living becomes unbearably predictable, the ruffians slip into the bustling crowds with death on their lips, intent on interrupting the calm with calamity.

The characters and composition first came into light as a rough thumbnail which was enlarged and brought into focus using graphite on bond paper, from there the image was scanned in, darkened for clarity, printed out, and transferred onto illustration board using blue transfer paper. Compressed charcoal and white acrylic were used to define the final drawing which was then scanned in and colored digitally.
