Client
In this case the client was a Lottery Contest called à Portuguesa — that was sponsored by "Sota - Art Agency, SA" (State of the Art). The porpuse of the contest was to a creative proposal for a fraction, commonly referred as a classic ticket of lottery, to be in future,  used by Jogos da Santa Casa along the year. The proposals had to be creative, original and traverse the subject PORTUGAL, respecting the image and the values associated with the Santa Casa da Misericordia of Lisboa. The year was 2013.

Briefing
I was inspired by the small things that makes Portugal a place genuine and memorable. From the monochrome shades cobblestone that enrichs the floor of our cities to the pombaline downtown houses that forms blocks of antique fables that lived there and also the  antennas on the houses pointed to the sky accompanied by carefree pigeons.
For my proposal I drew the sweet Beatriz Costa as my Portuguese muse, thanks to her we had many graceful moments in our cinematic history like "Canção de Lisboa" / "Song of Lisbon" (1933) or the movie "A Aldeia Branca" / "White Linen village" (1939) and many more. I wanted to represent a bit of Portuguese life I feel in me.

Final Proposal

Thank you for watching!
Please appreciat it & tell me what you think!
