The Texture of Brown
We always associate brown colour with something down-to-earth, natural and organic, but in fact brown is more than that. When I think of brown, the brown materials such as wood, leather and kraft paper would run through my mind. These materials all come from nature and they usually carry different textures. It inspires me to focus on the texture and raw feeling that brown colour brings to us.

BROWNTONE
The idea is to collect as much as the brown materials with textures, both natural and artificial, in order to create a material library. Each collected material will turn to a colour swatch and arranged by hue order to show the different shades of brown. BROWNTONE is not simply a color swatches library. Rather, it focuses on the relationship between brown and materials, and emphasizes the raw feeling that brown brings.
