Installation project "Stairs" where the agenda was to create a temporary illustration reflecting the history of a certain place. This was documented, and presented as in an art magazine to create discussion about how illustration is defined. The project was initiated to be a book project, where similar illustration installations would be applied to historical places.
The place I worked on here, was in my hometown in Norway, and the staircase is a couple of hundred years old (has been fixed up, but the pathway has been there for ages.) Now that the road is nearby it is not used much any more, and I brought back people to it by creating a 16 meter long drawing with figures connected to each other.
