While I was working as the Marketing and Media Coordinator for Chautauqua Theatre Company, I was tasked with rebranding the theatre. After doing a large amount of research into both font and color theory for various theatre company logos, we decided to keep the rebranding simple, by keeping the same colors. The artistic director felt that making "Chautauqua" the prominent word instead of "company" was an important change. I went with a slab serif font in order to help the company embrace the history of the Chautauqua Institution while also providing modernity which reflects itself in the work that is presented on stage.
