This project was done as an information security awareness campaign for Discovery Communications. They asked for a unique character to be created who could help employees understand the importance of maintaining safe information security habits. Thus, Shifty was born. I designed him to resemble both a shift key (cause that’s used by hackers all the time, right?) and an exclamation point. His name, Shifty, reflects both his personality as well as a shift in habits.

 

So without further ado, I invite you to meet Shifty!
