PROJECT INTRODUCTION
Thefollowing series of exercises presents students with a typographic morphologicalstudy. The study is designed to develop a mastery of typographic principles forpaginated print-based systems and their technical execution. Additionally, thestudy affords students the opportunity to critically reflect upon their personalcreative provenance and its relationship to practitioners within theirdiscipline of study. Conceptually it puts the student in the shoes of an urbanologistby examining the constructs of cities through the writings of Italo Calvino in InvisibleCities.
