LINEA packaging design agency has been assigned with renewing the design of an original and authentic product: Le Baume de Bouteville is a handcrafted French balsamic, produced in Bouteville in the Cognac region, aged in oak barrels that previously contained regional eau-de-vie. While it strongly benefits from local manufacturing knowledge in the Spirit Valley, its production method is complex yet simple, it only uses the traditional French ingredients: grapes, oak and time. Time moves on, years go by, France is changing... A strong sense of nostalgia has influenced the design of this small flacon. A glass shape we borrowed from pharmacists, intemporal elements we integrated in different parts of the bottle (a white gastronomy seal, raw wood, old fashioned stamp-paper), a "post-war" typography and a visual architecture reminding of liquors from ancestral times. A smartly integrated pouring spout in the cork makes its use more accurate for its users: high-end chefs and home gourmets… Le Baume de Bouteville is not a vinegar, its a unique experience of French gastronomy!

L’agence LINEA a le plaisir de vous faire partager le relifting d’un produit original : LE BAUME DE BOUTEVILLE, un balsamique français artisanal élaboré à Bouteville dans la région de Cognac. Bénéficiant des atouts de la Spirit Valley, son élaboration est à la fois simple et complexe : du raisin, des fûts de chêne ayant contenu de l’eau de vie et du temps. Le temps qui passe, les années qui défilent, la France qui change… un fort sentiment de nostalgie a influencé le design de ce flacon. Une forme verrière empruntée à l’univers des apothicaires-formulateurs, des gages d’authenticité intemporels (cachet, bois brut, papier matière), une typographie « d’après-guerre » et une architecture visuelle rappelant les anciennes liqueurs et flacons d’antan. Un bouchon verseur intégré vient faciliter son utilisation de manière assez astucieuse. LE BAUME DE BOUTEVILLE n’est pas un vinaigre, c’est une expérience singulière de la gastronomie française !
