By building up an array of Plexiglas see-through walls that are positioned either in different angles, Hallucinate aim to create a space that fascinates visitors with both its dazzling, kaleidoscopic patterns, the lighted wordings half-hidden at corners, and the way where so many elements are put together to deliver a great interactive experience. This design explicitly presents Line Soul’s style of design: originality, uniqueness and comfort. LED lamps are placed within the Plexiglas walls, illuminating the sides of the walls with refracted light. Visitors are attracted by the intriguing mesh of interspersed light rays and mildly hidden wordings that are creatively placed in the space of display.

The words may trigger deeper thoughts within the visitors’minds, hence enhancing the overall experience of visitors with elements of surprises and exploration. By repeatedly flashing words and playing shorts audio clips in a rhythmic pattern, deeper comprehension of the conveyed message is seemingly achieved. The soundless rhythms of words appearing in the sight of visitors creates a powerful visual impact that ingrains in their minds the message we strive to deliver through our display.

If the aim of exhibitions is to convey maximal messages to the masses, can it be done using minimal material resource and time? In pursuit of minimal resource consumption, Hallucinate ultimately chose to use Plexiglas walls as the main structural material for the display. The whole exhibition display involves utilizing unaltered Plexiglas planks delivered straight from factory to the exhibition venue. After the exhibition, the planks are returned to the factory in full, leaving no wastage of materials at the site, hence achieving a high level of material utilization in an eco-friendly manner and keeping within reasonable budget.
