John Lewis Delivery Packaging-D&AD Awards

This sustainable packaging is elevated above the traditional model - to a truly environmentally friendly. Closed loop model such that the packaging is created with renewable energy, uses renewable or recycled materials and is recycled or upcycled at the end of it’s usage to become something new. Thus, it never reaches the landfill, but is looped back into a new life cycle.
The design encourage the customers to keep the box and reuse it.
The delivery label peel off from the invoice and qr code is added to easy the delivery man.
The illustration inside the box explains the types of the boxes and how they can be used.
The customer has three options: to upcycle, return or recycle the box. The packaging is easy constructed to be reused at home as a storage. The second option is the box to be returned to the delivery man or in any of John Lewis stores and receive store points for that. In this option the company can recycle or reuse the box if it's in good condition and save money. In the third option the customer can recycle the box, because it's made of recyclable material and it's glue free.
