HEALTH CLUSTER is a system of interconnected elements, which function together as ONE ENTITY to fight the Ebola virus. The HEXAGONAL GEOMETRY of the elements opens up more options for forming CONNECTIONS between the units and DIFFERENT ROUTES through the structure (for doctors, patients, equipment etc.). Each element is oriented towards its inner garden - which is a gathering point for the people accommodated in it. Since we eliminate the view to the outside world, with these courtyards inside the structure we assign every element of the cluster its own PIECE OF THE SKY.

 

OUR GOAL is to construct a HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL SYSTEM and a SMALL TEMPORARY COMMUNITY in the infected areas to fight the Ebola virus as ONE POWERFUL ORGANISM.
