This work was developed as the final project from my experience in Ireland. Using an essay as source we had to design a catalogue of a fictional exhibition based on its content.
Mine was about the work of Lance Wyman in the Mexico Olympic Games, in 1968, and how he used two strong and different aspects, the contemporary through the Op Art and the folcloric through the Huichol, to create one of the most succesfull and known olympic games visual identity.
The catalogue is divided in three sections: Op art, Huichol and Mexico olympic games.
In the first two the audience can understand more about the sources and its relation helping them to recognize its use as a visual element in the olympic games.
