Auldbrass (C. Leigh Stevens House) is formed by 5 land parcels along the Combahee River originally owned by C. Leigh Stevens. Frank Lloyd Wright worked on this project from 1938, until his death in 1959. Both Stevens and FLW died before the project was completed. By the 1960s the property fell into disrepair. However, Auldbrass was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. In 1986, it was purchased by Joel Silver (film producer) who has since worked on its restoration.
