I created this mind map to decide on which part of belfast i should focus on for my Evocitive Belfast Poster. I collected some imagery to add to my decision https://uk.pinterest.com/alisonmcgrath77/poster-project/ after looking through the different aspects of belfast i decided to focus on the Titanic Mueum in belfast.

I was inspired by some posters I found on pinterest such as this one, https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/389139224027508611/ I thought this idea was so creative and fun the images where eye catching and modern. I decided to include this idea and interpret it as part of my poster. I created this image of the Titanic by drawing the outline of the boat on the sign guiding people to the Titanic Museum and the using a stencil cutter to cut out the body of the boat.
I was inspired by this sign, i wanted to incorprate it into my poster as it is the sign directing people to the Titanic Belfast Muesum. I thought this would be a brilliant template for the cut out paper on my poster
In the brief it sugested that photography was used to create the poster, I thought using a Polaroid camera to capture images of the Titanic Museum would suit the theme of my poster as well as a creative way to use photography.
I was inspired by the layout of this poster https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/389139224028681693/ i came up with the idea to include all of the required materials in the breif in one picture that looks like it is the desk of a fashion work place i thought it is a modern and effective way to get the message of a fashion show across using a picture. I created this picture by placing the stencil of the boat, photographs, sewing materials and a sketch of to fashion illistrations I did inspired by the Titanic building onto a table, I chose this table as i liked the grains and I believe it makes a convinsing work desk.
I wanted everything in my poster to link in with the Titanic Museum, when visiting the Museum and recearching photos of it I decided to try and make the font on my picture resemble the sign outside the Museum, I used the font 'stencil'.
I finished off this poster my putting a filter over my photograph, it makes the picture look sketched. I also darkened the picture to make it stand out more, i am extremely happy with how my poster turned out, i believe it is striking and fits the brief perfectly.
