The Fashion Label NOETIA Berlin asked us to create the set designs for their new collection SYNESTHESIA.
This collection is based on the same named neurological phenomenon, synesthesia, in which the stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.
We combined the theoretical scientific input with the inspirations of the Synesthesia collection and designed 4 different worlds.
TINGED REALITY is a world without colors, natural and surreal - scary and full of negative experiences trigged by specific sounds and represents a world of Misophonia, the variety of Synesthesia. A dark world filled with rounded and natural forms in contrast with geometrical shapes that create a visual tension as a response to the inner state.
